Gordon is one of the most dedicated fitness trainers in Dublin and a really great motivator. I initially had the objective of improving my general aerobic fitness and we quickly accomplished this and built on it with stamina and strength exercises. Very soon my levels of fitness dramatically increased and I decided that I needed to find a fitness challenge that would showcase my new stamina.
I signed up for a twenty eight day trek to the Himalaya know as the Lunana Snowman. This is probably one of the hardest high-altitude treks and far more people have climbed to the summit of Everest than have completed this unique traverse of Bhutan. It crosses the north of Bhutan along the border with Tibet covering 356km and crossing eight Himalayan mountain passes at altitudes up to 18,000 ft. I would never have been brave enough to embark on this challenge without Gordon’s encouragement and coaching. His targeted training prepared me for the challenges, especially the altitude and endurance and I successfully completed it. His training is a great investment in your health and I continue to enjoy his sessions even though they are extremely tough but always rewarding.

I've been training with Gordon in Club Vitae since January 2008. After being overweight most of my life, culminating in a trip to ultra-healthy Japan where I felt like the largest man in the country, I finally bit the bullet and decided to come to the gym.Gordon comes up with programmes that are both varied and challenging to stop me from losing interest. He always encourages me to push myself to the limits and get a great workout through overloading. Gordon also paid a lot of detail to my diet, helping me to realise where I was going wrong and always suggesting healthy, tasty, new foods to try.
In less than a year I lost 7 1/2 stone and 12 inches from my waist with Gordon's help, but once I hit my target weight, it didn't stop there. Gordon continuously works with me to increase my fitness, meeting my own goals with a structured program both in and out of the gym - he even went the extra mile and encouraged me to take on a 10km run he was also doing - something I never thought I'd be able to do, but came in with a time of 52 minutes. Not only am I much fitter and healthier than I ever was, but I'm a lot happier and confident since I started training. My whole outlook on life has changed and I have just returned from a 10 day activities/fitness holiday in France where I did altitude running, whitewater swimming, mountain biking and climbing. Bofore I started training with Gordon I would never had thought of participating in one of these holidays.


I considered myself to be a pretty fit 38 year old, going to the gym three times a week, mixing spinning classes with my own weights program. However, I had an ongoing back problem which affected every facet of my life, from picking my children up to completing a full turn in my golf swing. I mentioned this to Gordon one day and agreed to begin a course of PT to focus on strengthening my "core" and in turn, address the problems caused by my weak back.Gordon put me on a program which was simultaneously challenging and achievable. Within two weeks I noticed a dramatic difference in my flexibility and physical appearance and my back pain was completely gone after years of ongoing discomfort. People who hadn't seen me in a month were fascinated by the change. I went from a snug 38 waist to a comfortable 34. I lost over an inch around my neck. In all, I lost nearly 14 pounds and this has stayed off. More importantly however, my core strength is incredible. I can throw my children around like a wrestler now (and they love it!), and my newfound ability to complete a full golf swing would make Rory McIlroy jealous!
I cannot speak highly enough of Gordon's expertise and professionalism. His creativity in terms of new exercises never ceased to amaze me and this is only matched by Gordon's passion for his job and his drive to see his clients achieve their goals. Even for somebody who went to the gym regularly, Gordon's ability to make visible improvements in a short space of time makes the effort worth it.


From Multiple Sclerosis to Dragan Challenge...I had the pleasure of meeting and training with Gordon over the last year. I had suffered with a bad lower back for many years and after consulting with a back specialist I was advised to build up the muscles around my back. Gordon has been training me for a few months now and he has tailored the training exercise programme to suit my specific needs. Not only has the pain I have carried for years in my lower back gone but I feel so much stronger than I ever did even before I had the back pain. My body has also transformed and I have toned-up all over and discovered muscles I never thought I had. The one-to-one training with Gordon was the only way for me to achieve these amazing results. One day I had a hair brained idea. Without a day's experience of running, I decided that I wanted to run a half marathon, with less than three months to go to the big day. I overheard Gordon coaching a client in the gym one day and thought � that's the man for me. Gordon took me under his wing and to say that he did absolutely everything he possibly could to help and support me with my training, is a gross understatement. I cannot speak highly enough of Gordon's expertise, creativity, professionalism, patience, understanding and most of all his passion for his job and his drive to see his clients achieve their goals. Following Gordon's tailored and very creative training programme I ran my very first half marathon in 2 hours and 2 minutes and it is Gordon I have to thank for that achievement. In fact he was the first person I contacted right after I crossed the finish line. I've now set Gordon and I a new challenge � my first Triathlon�

Hour of Power ClassI have been doing the class now for a few years and have found it the most challenging class I have ever done. No matter what level of fitness you are at you will be able to jump in. It is a great energetic class and I love working out to the music, it kind of makes you take your mind off the hard work you will be doing. In all honesty you will do more in this one hour class than an hour by yourself in the gym. It is a great all over work out combining cardio and resistance and the Hour of Power instructors are super supportive. I would totally recommend this class to guys and girls of all fitness levels, you can really push yourself and you will see and feel the difference. The first few classes are tough - bit of a shock to the body but it does get easier and your technique will improve and you will feel better for it. If you are looking for a challenge you have to come along and try this class!
Since taking up Hour of Power I have made the panel for the Irish Softball team and represented Ireland in two European Championships. I will definitely be using the Hour of Power in my training for the 2010 European Championships in Holland.


Last year i took on one of the most difficult challenges in my life to date, The Dublin City Marathon, with your help and training i can honestly say that i would not have finished the 26 mile run across Dublin in October 2008.From a professional sporting perspective i have never come across a fitness class like the hour of power. It has the perfect structure to challenge beginner to elite fitness in a group ethic of training which promotes all particiants to really achieve there goals. The intensity of the class is designed to work lower and upper body to the max.
If you are looking to improve there fitness and strenght i could not speak highly enough about this method of training.
